20230123 Newsletter. Vaccine news, Gay facebook art listing updated, Bogus studies.
Bogus studies criticizing Gay people. Key signs to suspect some study to criticize Gays. New Yorker article about people who fought for Gay rights in the Victorian Age.
FACEBOOK GROUPS FOR GAY ART UPDATED – HALF-DOZEN GROUPS ADDED IN.
It is better formatted with the titles to the groups and not just the URL. Also, removed links that no longer exist. Also, made sure they are actually Gay art groups.
If you know of a Facebook group I need to add, let me know on twitter. https://twitter.com/PartisanGay
POSTED STUFF WITHOUT SOURCES
I am really getting tired of seeing stuff that seems outrageous supposedly said by some trans person attacking Gays on twitter, but there is no source.
There needs to be a source because, sometimes I find stuff is made up. Also, making up stuff that no trans extremist said ever, allows trans extremists to deny the stuff that is real.
ANTI-BIOTIC RESISTANT GONORRHEA: DO THE LGBTQXYZ DEMOCRATS EVEN RECOGNIZE THE IMPACT TO GAYS?
The LGBTQXYZ establishment is basically embarrassed to even acknowledge that this is a Gay concern. When your movement is an initialism, Gay issues get lost in the shuffle. The following is an alarming development which could impact a large segment of the Gay community severely.
This is a Gay issue. Yes, everyone can get an STD, but since Gays as a group are more sexually active, this is more of an issue for Gays.
Fortunately, and no thanks to the LGBTQXYZ establishment, there are vaccines in development for gonorrhea and the meningitis vaccine has proved to provide partial protection against gonorrhea, and it is a vaccine Gays should get anyways. That is, get your meningitis vaccinnation now.
RSV VACCINE SUCCESSFUL IN TRIALS, APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL UNDERWAY.
Besides protecting our health, we have an opportunity to have a differential opportunity to do better than anti-Gay anti-vax Evangelicals. Evangelicals have a high likelihood of being anti-vax. I will put a link to an essay about vaccines being our Gay superpower at the end of this post.

I have a speculative theory that after each vaccine is developed and tested, Moderna will move on to the next disease to develop a mRNA vaccine. There are so many possible applications of mRNA technology, that they can’t all be investigated at once. Also, once cash flow occurs with a released vaccine, more research can be funded.
PRECLINICAL GONORRHEA VACCINE TEST RESULTS
This is NOT an mRNA vaccine, but uses another method. Biomolecular science is developing and as a result many possibilities for vaccines are opening up.
The favorable test results are with animal models.
Earlier this newsletter had a post with a report on how a meningitis vaccine was found to provide partial protection against gonorrhea.
BIONTECH HERPES mRNA VACCINE TRIAL STARTS
They are also working on malaria and tuberculosis. I speculate that they can only work on so many vaccine development projects at the same time, but as one vaccine triumphally rolls out, they will move on to the next.
Since these vaccine trials are moving way faster than traditional vaccine developments, I think that we can expect that ALL the major STDs that impact Gays will have either have vaccines or vaccines in development in maybe 5 years. I think some of the major STDs that Gays face will have mRNA vaccines sooner.
THIS FAILED HIV VACCINE IS NOT A mRNA Vaccine

AUTHOR PUBLISHING CHARGES AND THE LGBTQXYZ SCOLDING OF GAYS
When they say some “study” shows that Gays shouldn’t do this or that, or they are pushing some agenda based on some “studym,” and then give reference to a study. Go check out that publication and see if they have Author Publishing Charges. (APC)
This is where the author pays to get published. I think that there is a conflict of interest inherent in paying typically around $2,000 to be published. If they decided the study is bogus or needs revision they lose a large payment.
I have been seeing some of this when I have done some checking. I did a spot check and four our of four of the “studies” that the Trevor Project had were in journals with Author Publishing Charges, one of which was a journal that has been called predatory.
A link to my review of Trevor Project studies at the end of the newsletter.
Some links to credible sources about the problem of predatory journals and APC charges.
Universities now have programs to make sure their students and researchers aren’t scammed.

NOT ALL “SCIENCE” WEBSITES & SOURCES ARE THE SAME, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY WANT TO BROWBEAT GAYS
This post tries to report in an inflammatory way an ALLEGED scientific discovery.
This is a Facebook page devoted to attacking Gay bodybuilders.
It is true that genetics do play a part on how much results you will get from working out, and there are of course always a few people who are neurotic about their bodies. However, you still need to get exercise and not eat garbage food. Like most things it is both genetics and environment.
I would also suggest that if your genes are leaning against your health, perhaps you need to work more than others on making your personal habits work for your health. This Facebook page, much like most LGBTQXYZ group have you focus on being a victim instead.
HOWEVER, what I want to review is the source for this Facebook Post. This is the source for the angry claims of the Facebook group.

Live Science has a habit of having science articles with sensationalist titles.
In reading the Live Science article, this is the source given, or better stated this is how they don’t give a source.
“The results are published in the latest issue of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.”
Does the article actually say what Live Sciences is reporting it as saying? Good luck trying to find out.
The Live Science article was published in April 10, 2006.
The article doesn’t have a title for the article, nor a date of the issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences it was supposedly in. It would be nearly impossible to track down the article.
I am finding a lot of moral panic type of articles lecturing Gays or appealing for money have issues with their sources.
These are common issues I am currently finding:
[1] The “study” was in a journal with Author Publishing Charges (APC) or a journal with an APC and has been called “predatory.” That is a journal which is questionable.
[2] They claim prestigious sources, but you won’t be able to track them down.
[3] When you are able to track down the source, you see that the study has been exaggerated or doesn’t actually say what the moral panic article is claiming it is say.
[4] They don’t link directly to the academic article, but instead to some dubious website which interprets the article.
[5] The study isn’t published in any journal at all and has no peer review as to how it was conducted or the results were analyzed or assess if it was totally bogus.
This Facebook Post would discourage Gays from getting exercise and eating healthy. Though it is true that some are more likely to achieve being a body builder than others, that doesn’t mean that Gays in general shouldn’t avoid morbid obesity and not get basic adequate exercise.
The LGBTQXYZ moral scolds can be a danger to our heath.

For this article I checked into four articles that the Trevor Project referred to which were published in journals and all four had APCs and one was in a journal that others called predatory.
