It is important to be multiply connected. Though Substack sells itself as being the place safe from censorship, no media platform is absolutely safe.
If you don’t have a Twitter account however, I am not suggesting you should get one just to connect to me. I am just trying to encourage being multiply connected.
Chinese and Japanese artists and their technically advanced work.
I didn’t know how well my artist post for Rudybangbang would go. I thought his works were really good, but I wasn’t so sure whether my subscription base would like him or the Gay art Facebook groups would like him. There was a huge positive response to him.
I thought he was amazing, but I have always dated men from a variety of races, and I also know that often in the Anglophone world people have some barrier to perceive the beauty of Asian guys or African American guys or guys of other races.
However, it must not be like it was in decades past. I do a lot of writing and research and I am not well connected into everyday Gay life like I was. My boyfriend and I have been together for 30 years and I have dropped out of clubbing. (He isn’t Asian.)
I have located some other Asian Gay artists who have really interesting work. I not going to have the art for the Gay Agenda be all one thing or another, but I will not be restraining myself from sharing a really good Gay Asian artists either.
I am noticing that these Japanese and Chinese artists put a lot of technical effort into their art. It isn’t just some life drawing put out in an afternoon. One the other hand, maybe given that I am operating in the Anglophone world, I am just seeing a skewed sample.
I can’t read either Chinese or Japanese, but I realize once I am following one Chinese Gay artist, I find that artist retweeting another Chinese Gay artist.
If you know of a good Gay artists I should know about, regardless of where or who they are let me know.

Asexuals will be used to repress Gay sexuality at Pride
“I finally understood my sexuality, but Pride didn’t feel like a celebration of what I feel. Everyone’s wearing very little or nude, everyone’s kissing or hugging each other. And that’s the stuff we don’t like to do.”
Fletcher feels asexual people are not taken seriously. “If I was gay, people would believe me. There’s not much awareness of our community at all.”
The hypersexualised nature of the queer community can be very hard for asexual people, explains 30-year-old Cyan Donatti, a non-binary counselling sexologist who is also asexual.
The Respectability Gays have been looking for excuses to repress Pride events.
My advice to asexuals, go have your own event. This parasitism of the Gay community needs to stop.
Initialism is used to repress Gays.
Anti-Gay Christian Colleges are in a crisis. Seems no one wants to major in bigotry.
Christian colleges make up the Worst List which you can view at this link at Campus Pride.
https://www.campuspride.org/worstlist/
As they go out of business it will be a major win for Gays. Though some Gays will have graduated from these anti-Gay schools and will be inventing excuses to support them. Make sure you don’t accept their excuses and be ready to call them out on their excuses.
An article how the concern of Gays was pushed out of the LGBTQXYZ establishment groups.
I breezed through parts of it, so I am not endorsing it, but I want this newsletter be a resource for important articles and articles that are being talked about.

Some science websites for those who aren’t super technical.
Given that as Gays we exist in a world where the Gay community can be impacted by scientific and technological developments we need to be informed.
The development of vaccine technology for HIV and other STDs is important. Understanding what is going on in the Internet affects things from hookup apps to social media platforms. So here are some websites of various difficulties.
Arstechnica covers both science and technology and explains it to non-specialists in the field.
Nature is a specialist publication, BUT they have news shorts which explain things for the general reader. Even scientists don’t understand what other scientists do in other fields or know the terminology. So there is a need of short articles breaking it down for the general reader.
This website is dedicated to do popular science reporting.

Sky & Telescope has been around a long, long time and is a good source for astronomy.
They have some really interesting articles, but you only get so many until they have a paywall for you.
https://www.technologyreview.com/
An article about a major investment into biotechnology for life extension.
Wired is often a cheerleader for the high-tech industry, what I mean is that they do uncritical hyping of the tech industry in my opinion, and I prefer Arstechnica. They also, only allow a few articles a month before they want you to pay.
This is a new publisher of science and technology which I have discovered. It is published by the John S. and James L. Knight foundation and it is part of the journalism program at MIT. I really should be reading it more.
This article discusses the lack of research into syphilis and also mentions that Gay men are at the highest risk.

There are some so-called sites to avoid. I am not going to mention them, because I don’t want to publicize them.
Advice to Gay Artists: Don’t bury your Gay art with a multitude of different items.
When a person comes to your site, have a link to a page where they can find your Gay oriented art all together. I am not going to be referring people to your site if it is a site in which when they get there they will be doing a tedious hunt to find the items of interest to Gays.
A lot of Gay artist are using Linktree.
It is an easy place to have all the links to all your online presence in one place. I am not saying it is necessarily a great thing to have, I just notice that more and more Gay artists are using it.
