Visiting Taiwan. Lots happening in Dallas, Texas. Get vaccianted. We live, homophobes die, it is just that simple.

I am going to start Gay art posts again in November.
Got four (4) vaccinations in the last month.
I got the flu shot, the RSV shot, the pneumonia shot, and the covid shot. My significant other got five vaccinations, since he got mpox also.
The flu, RSV is for those over 60. The pneumonia is for those over 65. The covid shot is for most everyone.
When you read obituaries of those over 60 years of age, a lot of times it is some respiratory disease that does them in. They break a leg and are bed ridden and that leads to pneumonia and they die.
The demographic which is most likely to not want to get vaccinated are homophobic Evangelical Christians. I am not saying everyone Evangelical is antivax, but the prevalence is fairly high.
The local Stedfast Baptist Church is against covid vaccines.
Basically, we get vaccinated and live, they don’t and die. It is just that simple.
Even if they don’t die, they are sick in bed and not able to campaign against Gays or have long covid and not able to do much to campaign against Gays.
The interests of Gays aren’t identical to any movement, political party, or ideology except Gay liberation.
Locally in Dallas, the African American Democratic mayor, Eric Johnson, switched to the Republican Party. To any intelligent person there was no surprise. He had had the Republican U.S. Senator swear him in as Mayor, but even without that, it was fairly evident when he ran to be mayor of Dallas, he was Republican in his politics.
However, a lot of local Gays and Lesbians, who imagine they are radical, wanted to do something. I told them it isn’t our job to save the Democrats. I also had to explain the local LGBTQ establishment hadn’t supported them at all, so why did they want to support that establishment.
Some Lesbians and Gays imagine that the particular movement they are in, is the only path for the Lesbians and Gays, and that their particular movement is Gay liberation. All alliances with other groups, movements and ideology are contingent. That is, they are in the interest of Gays only as long as they are beneficial to Gays. We should never be welded to some movement.
When things get disrupted or there is a conflict in the establishment, that is when marginal groups, like us, get opportunities to exploit.
Will be publishing in November
I will be visiting Taiwan to learn about Gay life in a non-Western culture and also a place where Christians are a small minority and Christian homophobia is not a factor.
I am also speaking at a history conference.
Thai Rivera has a video, “This Person is Everything Wrong with the LGBTQ Community.”
The problem with silly persons, such as the one shown in the video, who are grasping for victimhood, is that there is real victimization, no one is going to take it seriously.
This is the direct link to the TikTok. I actually couldn’t watch this directly. So, you are warned.
I have a post which I update regarding crazies on Tiktok.
Dallas, Texas, a lot is happening.
I was at the Cathedral of Hope to get video and photo document the protest against them. I also was at the Texas Latino Pride Fest getting video and photo documenting.
The anti-drag protest against Cathedral of Hope got national media, the protest against drag at the Texas Latino Pride Fest only got local coverage.
I am also calling out some social justice types for going along with scams made to look like the City of Dallas is actually doing something.
Trip to Taiwan
This is part of my three-prong plan to fight Christian homophobia.
1. Get Gay atheists doing something more than posting memes. Having tougher tactics.
2. Get non-Christian Gays organized into something. As an alternative for Gays rejecting Christian homophobia, but still wanting a religion.
3. Getting Christian Gays to have a more aggressive approach and realize that their concerns are just their concerns, and not that of all Gays.
I talk about the trip to Taiwan in this post.
