Brainstormed what Gay housing could be. Came up with 63 notes about it and many ideas.
To see yourself in art. A redeeming feature of A.I. Art
I have had further thoughts on A.I. art and think that it has some limitations, but I can see its value for many Gays.
Originally, after the novelty of using A.I. wore off, I lost interest and it tend to be of all one style used for covers of pulp fiction. If you like it, don’t mind me. Artistic taste varies and also, I don’t see any harm in it.
However, I saw more and more Gay people using A.I. art and I saw Facebook groups for Gay A.I. art. More importantly I saw what Gay people were creating with A.I. art.
I saw that Gay people use A.I. to create art that visualized their Gay dreams, fantasies, desires, mythologies, wished for worlds, and values. In seeing the Gay A.I. art, I have a window into the minds of Gay men.
I thought back to when I was growing up as a teenager in the 1960s and even life in the 1970s. You didn’t not see yourself and or anything Gay in art.
All those Greek dishes and vases with men with erections, you didn’t see those. There was no hint that they existed. All those ancient artifacts from the Americas or ancient civilizations, you had no idea they existed. They were hidden away. Also, even if you saw something that might do, the museum made sure that they weren’t available as a poster. Yes, you could see some ancient statue with a miniature penis, and of course not erect.
You simply didn’t see yourself in art. Much of the 1980s was articles on Gay art that had existed, and had been hidden away. I am still seeing things that were dug up by archeologists a long time ago, but have been only shown in the last couple decades.
I purchased “Apples and Pears,” a collection of stories by Guy Davenport, in the 1980s. I wasn’t that much interested in the stories. What I was interested in was the art work. In the art work styles which I had seen growing up, were objects of Gay desire.

Some were using a style that was common for illustrations when I grew up and another was another modernist style you would see. The artistic styles of my youth included my existence. It was very powerful, and even though there were only five or six images that I was interested in, I purchased the book.
That is what it was like then, you had to hunt and be alert to art that represented yourself. I would cut out magazine articles showing some art. As the 1990s progressed, a lot of art for Gays became available.
However, it is just “Apples and Pears,” which have Gay themes in the common styles of my youth.
Even now, you won’t see much for Gays at regular venues for art. You have to seek out venues where there is focus on Gay art and dodge social media platform censorship.
Thinking back to this book, I could understand why so many Gays are using A.I. art. They can create the images that validate their dreams, values, fantasies. They can see themselves and their imagination realized in images.
I don’t think it will replace art that is created in the usual ways, but I think the psychic starvation of no images representing ourselves and our dreams is alleviated to some extent.

OnlyFans being targeted.
The environment for content for Gays is being tightened generally and not just for Gay art.
We really need to stop making assumptions about who are necessarily the friends or foes of Gays, versus some abstract LGBTQXYZ being assumed to be our friends.
This was the headline of an article in The Guardian.
OnlyFans investigated over claim children accessed pornography
If you read the article this was the reality.
The website said in a statement that a coding error led to the threshold for passing the age estimation process being set at 20 years of age rather than 23, raising the possibility that younger-than-expected subscribers, including some possibly under the age of 18, were able to sign up to an OnlyFans account.
So they had a ban on under 20 when they thought it was under 23, and the legal age is 18. Since it is a computer glitch there was a possibility that perhaps under 18 was able to view it.
Locally our anti-Gay newspaper was quick to pick up on this. However, their title for their article was less alarmist. The headline of the anti-Gay paper was less alarmist than the left Guardian.
OnlyFans Reports Age-Verification Glitch in UK

Notice that this hostile environment for Onlyfans is in a nation that isn’t dominated by Evangelical Christians. However, it does have some factions in the feminist movement which are anti-porn. Hence the so-called progressive/liberal/left movements don’t want to be in a position of defending porn and act in ways to try to find a position where they appease anti-porn feminists without alienating free speech advocates. Hence The Guardian has an alarmist headline unsupported by the facts.
Don’t be surprised when they come for Grindr, Scruff, A4A, and others.
