Intro
There are artists trying to sell Gay art on Etsy. Not all of them are bad. Also, I have to say, I might not like something, but that doesn’t mean you can’t like it.
At least one prominent Gay artist, Felix de Leon sells on Etsy.

His drawings are in a style used for story books back in the 1920s. You either like it or not. Some examples. (Article continues past these tweets.)
Clicking on this link will lead you to a wide range of items, some of which I am not sure why someone thought was “Gay Art.”

Lots of consumer goods which are fairly mediocre. I do support having things in the house which define it as a Gay household, but I wouldn’t buy it. For example this item.

AGAIN, if you would, that is fine. I think that if there was a stronger market for Gay consumer goods we would have better stuff produced.
There are Tom of Finland items.

Putting rainbows or using rainbow colors is used a lot. This actually doesn’t look bad. A lot of the rainbowed stuff is not really thought out and is just a rainbow plastered on stuff. Again, if there was a stronger market we might have better thought out consumer goods.

Lots of Ancient Greece stuff. Or perhaps inspired by Ancient Greek stuff.

I wouldn’t get it for my house. However, let’s not be snobs. The person who purchases it, is taking a step in making his place a Gay place. Gay art reinforces Gay identity.
I am always annoyed by closety Gays getting upset when they see the art on my walls at my house. It does tell you that for the closety Gay, even in his own home, he, his house is for others and not himself.
Was about to give up on Etsy when I came across this person. So if you are on Etsy you are going to have to page through lots of pages. I was on page 19 when I found this item.
I stopped at 30 pages. A lot of the pages are sketches of male nudes. They are affordable and if your house doesn’t have any Gay art, Etsy is a reasonable place to find some Gay art.

The problem with Etsy is that anyone can just say it is Gay or LGBT and it shows up in your search. So there is a lot of dross in a search on Etsy. Maybe there is something fabulous on page 60, but I just stopped at 30 pages.
The art on Etsy might be the thing for your house, and I think if you don’t have any Gay art in your house, you have to ask why. It is your own space, you paid for it, hopefully you aren’t restricting yourself in your own home.

There are sites similar to Etsy where gay art can be purchased. Much of my work is on Society6, but I know there are other sites as well.
