GLAAD CEO "Lavish Spending." NYTimes expose'. LGBTQXYZ Cash for Crisis. It is really about dumping transgender?
What I speculate is behind this suddent expose'. The Democrats want to ditch surgery on minors and men in sports, and some LGBTQXYZ groups got in the way.

The title is, “Pattern of Lavish Spending at a Leading L.G.B.T.Q. Nonprofit,” with a subtitle, “GLAAD paid for its chief executive to fly first-class, rent a Cape Cod house and remodel her home office. It may have violated I.R.S. rules.”
The article is NOT behind a paywall either. They really wanted to get this article out there.

Some excerpts:
A light rain fell at the Zurich airport one Sunday morning in January 2023 as Sarah Kate Ellis made her way from a seat in Delta’s most exclusive cabin to a waiting Mercedes. It was there to chauffeur her to the Swiss Alps, where she and her colleagues would stay at the Tivoli Lodge, a seven-bedroom chalet that cost nearly half a million dollars to rent for the week.
Ms. Ellis, who was en route to the World Economic Forum in Davos, doesn’t run a Wall Street bank or a high-flying tech start-up. She is the chief executive of the nonprofit organization GLAAD, one of the country’s leading L.G.B.T.Q. advocacy groups.
The group, which has an annual budget of roughly $30 million, paid for Ms. Ellis’s trip, as well as a day of skiing, according to internal documents reviewed by The New York Times and interviews with current and former employees and others with knowledge of GLAAD’s operations.
And:
When Ms. Ellis traveled for work, there were first-class flights, stays at the Waldorf Astoria and other luxury hotels and expensive car services. Not to mention a Cape Cod summer rental and nearly $20,000 to remodel her home office, which was outfitted with a chandelier, among other accouterments.[Boldface added.]
And:
All of that is on top of Ms. Ellis’s annual pay package, which has the potential to stretch into the high six or low seven figures — a sum that would far exceed what her peers at many similarly sized organizations have earned.
For the employees of GLAAD life was different.
Many of Ms. Ellis’s expenses also appeared to break GLAAD’s own rules for travel and entertainment, which at the time stated that all employees must fly economy, prioritize public transportation and try to keep costs to a minimum.
And:
Like many other nonprofits, GLAAD pushes employees to keep a tight lid on costs. The group’s travel and entertainment policy, a summary of which Ms. Ellis signed in 2017, called for all employees to “be cost conscious.” The policy instructed employees to limit hotel costs to $350 a night in big cities. It said that without exception, GLAAD would not reimburse employees for black cars or business- and first-class airfare.

I will put it in here if there is any.
Democrats realize that men in the locker room, competing in women’s sports, and in public restrooms is likely to sink them.
Democrats realize that the public is developing a horror of surgeries on minors.
This is about the Biden administration declaring against surgery on minors. They are busy shifting their views.
The New York Times has warned the Democrats that men in women’s lockerooms and sports and surgery on minors is going to coast them the election.
From an earlier post of The Gay Agenda”
The New York Times is the press agency of the establishment. When they make this recommendation, it means that the establishment has decided that gender ideology needs to go. The following came in the 7/23/2024 morning emails that the New York Times sends out titled, “Harris’s opportunity.” The article has a section titled, “Why moderation works.” Then there is the section, “Five Democratic vulnerabilities.” It has the following as one of the five vulnerabilities.
The above is behind a paywall at:

(If anyone knows of where the article can be found NOT behind a paywall, please let me know.)
I reported on this article in this weekly posting.
GLAAD has been pushing the Democrats in the opposite direction.
GLAAD has been all in on the full transgender agenda proclaiming that it is “settled science.”
They had this X post (formerly Twitter) (below) listing various organizations supposedly behind the transgender ideology. To me it just shows it is easy to bully professional societies with scream accusations.

GLAAD has been claiming that trans issues are the issues to get support from the LGBTQ+ based on some poll which I question. This is the article, “LGBTQ+ advocates urge Biden Democrats to push back more strongly on anti-trans rhetoric.” That is the LGBTQXYZ Alphabet Soup is pushing the Democrats over an electoral cliff.
In reading these articles you note that anti-LGBTQ+ is actually just gender ideology and has nothing to do with Lesbians, Gays, of Bisexuals.
GLAAD was part of the attack on the New York Times which has been questioning transgender policies.
This is the denunciation of the New York Times. All the NYTimes has done is point out that some trans ideology is nonsensical.
The New York Times has long been the standard for excellence in journalism: A media outlet that New Yorkers, Americans, and people around the world looked to for ethical, thorough reporting, and thoughtful opinion pieces. But for more than a year, the New York Times has stood for something else: irresponsible, biased coverage of transgender people. The Times has repeatedly platformed cisgender (non-transgender) people spreading inaccurate and harmful misinformation about transgender people and issues. This is damaging to the paper’s credibility. And it is damaging to all LGBTQ people, especially our youth, who say debates about trans equality negatively impact their mental health, which is a contributing factor to the high suicide rates for LGBTQ youth.
It is appalling that the Times would dedicate so many resources and pages to platforming the voices of extremist anti-LGBTQ activists who have built their careers on denigrating and dehumanizing LGBTQ people, especially transgender people. While there have been a few fair stories, mostly human interest stories, those articles are not getting front-page placement or sent to app users via push notification like the irresponsible pieces are.

Harris is ahead in the 538 Polls, but by a razor thin margin. They need to ditch trans excesses right away.
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/2024/national/
The election is only 95 days away and there isn’t a moment to lose or an advantage in the polls.
Deleting GLAAD is an easy thing for the NY Times to do, and it will send a message to the other LGBTQXYZ organizations.
GLAAD has been attacking the New York Times and so there is no love lost. Also, GLAAD is one of those top down advocacy organizations. Attacking them doesn’t involve attack an organization which is bottom up and with a wide spread membership such as Human Rights Coalition. GLAAD is a classic elite type organization.
Also, the excesses of GLAAD make the group very vulnerable.
For the average person it might appear that the New York Times is just exposing a bad apple, but you need to think why the New York Times is exposing GLAAD now.
The various LGBTQXYZ Democratic clubs won’t miss the point of this expose’ of GLAAD. Other non-profits will be thinking about how they are spending their money. The leadership of LGBTQXYZ non-profits, won’t miss the point of this expose’ of GLAAD either.
The point is, if you want to be on the Democratic Party’s bad list, keep nagging the Biden administration and the Democratic Party to support surgery for minors, men in women’s sports and lockerrooms and other crazy stuff.
HRC are you listening?
The other point is that the New York Times might review your spending or other habits, such as Trevor Project’s using journals that are called predatory and journals with Author Publishing Charges to publish what they claim are studies.
It will be understood by most of the LGBTQXYZ media also, which way the wind is blowing.
Transgender ideology is collapsing.
Step by step, report by report, article by article the Transgender establishment is collapsing, (being crushed).
I think that there won’t be much left by 2025.
We need to do a follow up and make sure that those who colluded with the transgender extremists are run out of the movement.

The Atlantic
This is the magazine of the establishment. GLAAD’s days are numbered and its a small number. People seeing this in The Atlantic, will know which way the establishment winds are blowing and start deserting GLAAD, including the LGBTQXYZ leadership. I disagree with the article though. The media need to be monitored for homophobia, GLAAD stopped doing that. Perhaps the establishment would like to see less LGBT activitity.
