Japanese festivals, Pride events, and LGB moral scolds.
Some cross cultural observations to show the provincial nature of both Christians and Respectability Gays and Lesbian scolds. Like Julie Bindel.

A broader cultural perspective in response to Christian and Lesbian and Gay Respectability moral scolds.
I am going to do a series of posts where I show that what some of the things that happen at Pride events, happens elsewhere.
So recently Julie Bindel, Lesbian moral scold had this post on X.com refering to an article in her Substack asking that Pride events be banned.

It has a link to her Substack post, “A Pride of Perverts,” where she denounces Pride and wants it banned. It is full of classic homophobia. This is what you write when basically you are a moral scold shaped by Christian society and phobic of male sexuality.
Likely, if she lived in 1900 she would be a member of a crusading temperance society, perhaps with an axe.
So I am going to show processions here and there in other societies.
The basic thing about them is that they don’t have Christian zealots hysterically obsessed with sex being evil.
These are religious events in Japan and follow ancient traditions.
These fire festivals and these festivals where they cary shrines go back centuries.
The filming for news distribution is rather coy, and for Western audiences very carefully filmed. So you don’t realize how these people are dressed.
To see a video on a fire festival as you might see them in person, you will need to search on YouTube or Google using Japanese language and not English.
For example, this group, participates in the Hokkaido Fire Festival. It is a group of singers I believe. They are wearing fundoshi.
There are processions with shrines of Shinto deities carried through the town called Matsuri. The ones for Western audiences or world news audiences are censored, but some for local Japanese viewing show it as it is.
This tourist is filming the event as it is.
On X there are those who photo document these festivals.
You can see they are religious events, though these X accounts do seem to have also other interests.

Japan is a major advanced nation and a world industrial power.
Since they successfully prevented colonial conquest they still have their ancient Gods, temples and culture, unlike the Africans and the Latinos. They don’t have Christians to teach them the body is evil.
They have an orderly society with safe streets. They aren’t disintegrating into chaos.
They don’t wear this type of clothing for everyday life, but for festivals and processions, where they basically perform their Japanese identity, and have pride being Japanese they wear this.
This is a reference block of information.
This unit of information will be used in response to the moral scolds among the LGBTQXYZ+ and the Christians currently attacking Pride.
The pride events were powerful in building the Gay movement. Various groups have hijacked it, but hopefully we will revive Gay pride events.
Not many people know that not only in Japan, but in many other civilized countries, not practicing mainly a religion obsessed with sex, especially the Catholic one, which has falsely imposed a taboo on society towards all forms of sex, especially homosexual ones, they freely practice customs and traditions that in many Western countries are bitterly forbidden. Before the emperor Constantine, although he never embraced the Christian faith, and died as a pagan, imposed Christianity as the official faith of the state, the Roman and first Greek societies, from which we derive our history and our social organizations, did not adopt these false presumptions, sex was what it was, and everyone practiced it freely as he saw fit, always in compliance with the law and society. They were not afraid of a naked body, just as nature rightly created it.
