LGBTQ quitting or just Trans Quitting, Ongoing attack on the BBC for Defying Trans Ultras
The misrpresentations of initialism. How LGBTQXYZ is used to drag Lesbians and Gays into issues which aren't their issues or even contrary to their interests.
The following is an article in Vice, an online news source.
“LGBTQ Employees Are Quitting the BBC Becasue They Say It’s Transphobic”
The reporter is a Ben Hunte.
This is a good example to show how LGBTQ and other initialisms are used to misrepresent issues and give the impression that something or another is involving Lesbians and Gays.
It turns out that the trans ideologues aren’t able to dictated to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) their ideology and they are upset about it.
No one individual is LGBTQ, they are Lesbian or Gay or Bi or Trans or Queer, whatever that might mean. It seems actually that it is mostly trans quitting and not LGBTQ in general, but they are also somewhat vague, but there is this from the article. The article discusses what was said in a video conference call of the BBC Pride Network and has this quote from the conference.
“I know someone that walked out the other day over the article. I know someone else that left a couple of months ago. I know about eight trans people that left the organisation in the past 12 months because they don’t believe that the BBC is impartial anymore,” said one current BBC employee on the call.
“My trans and LGBT friends have lost confidence in the BBC – I’m losing confidence in the BBC – and I’m considering whether my place should be in this organisation,” another person added.
It seems that it is trans and a certain ideological faction of LGBTQ supporting trans extremism are resigning but not Gays and Lesbians in general.
The “article” which they are complaining about is an article in which the BBC reported that some transmen were harassing Lesbians for sex.
Vice reported that the meeting was because the BBC had done a report on transwomen pressuring Lesbians to have sex with them.
The heated session ran over by half an hour because of the number of issues raised. It was organised following the huge backlash the BBC recently received after publishing an article which claimed some trans women are rapists.
This is the article which got them heated.
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-57853385
The BBC reported an account of a Lesbian raped by a transwomen with a penis.
Another reported a trans woman physically forcing her to have sex after they went on a date.
"[They] threatened to out me as a terf and risk my job if I refused to sleep with [them]," she wrote. "I was too young to argue and had been brainwashed by queer theory so [they were] a 'woman' even if every fibre of my being was screaming throughout so I agreed to go home with [them]. [They] used physical force when I changed my mind upon seeing [their] penis and raped me."
While welcomed by some in the LGBT community, Angela's report was described as transphobic by others.
"[People said] we are worse than rapists because we [supposedly] try to frame every trans woman as a rapist," said Angela.
"This is not the point. The point is that if it happens we need to speak about it. If it happens to one woman it's wrong. As it turns out it happens to more than one woman."
The slogan “believe women” regarding women is forgotten and a woman reporting a rape is instead herself is denounced.
Trans in Britain and elsewhere are furious with BBC for not submitting to trans extremism. They are a credible global news source. They aren’t some right wing or right-leaning news source. With the BBC not submitting to trans ultras the Alphabet Soup elites are not able to control the discourse on trans. If the BBC defies trans ideological dictation, it sets up the precedence for other media to defy trans ideological dictation. Or circumvent it by reporting the controversy in which the topic of the controversy needs to be mentioned.
However, the major lesson here is by saying it is “LGBTQ” leaving instead of “Trans” leaving, they can make it out that the BBC reporting on trans issues is a big concern and issue for Lesbians and Gays when it doesn’t appear to be so for Lesbians and Gays at the BBC. It is likely there are a lot of Lesbians and Gays in the BBC sighing relief that they are no longer in danger of denunciation if they bring up the issue of Trans demanding sex and the BBC is the one place where they can feel safe from trans ultras.
Importantly, BBC reporting on transwomen harassment of Lesbians isn’t an attack on Lesbians and Gays, if anything it is an action in defense of Lesbians and Gays.
Vice’s news reporting is to drag Lesbians and Gays into defending trans ultraism and trying to convince them that they are being attacked.
This is what initialism does, when you have LGBTQIA++, some group’s issue is represented as an issue for Lesbians and Gays regardless whether it is an issue for Lesbians and Gays or even if it is actually contrary to the welfare of Lesbians and Gays.
Vice has been in the past one of the major media for some group to complain about Lesbians and Gays.
I did a review of the article and the attack on the article by Pink News, the major LGBT paper in Britain. I will provide a link to it following here:
