GAY HEALTH – mRNA VACCINES FOR OTHER STDS
This is a good overview article written for a general audience regarding mRNA Vaccines and their applicability to many diseases.

Basically, I am thinking that some pharmaceutical company or group of researchers is going to be looking at using a vaccine for any disease which doesn’t have a vaccine now, or a vaccine that works well, and I am guessing, but I think at some point they will expect vaccines of 90% or better as a routine thing. Or maybe even better if mRNA vaccines start to be typically over 95% effective.
No technology is static and there is likely some improvement to come for mRNA vaccines.
The Gay community is a sexually active population and support for research for vaccines and effective treatments should be a significant agenda item for Gays.
VACCINATION – OUR SUPERPOWER OVER ANTI-GAY CHRISTIANS
I was a member of one of the LGB Facebook groups and in the feed was published some anti-vaxxer thing. I criticized it being there in the group and also the anti-vaxxer nonsense. The admin of the Facebook Group said that supporters for vaccination were like trans activists. I left the group and deleted all my contributions and comments in the group.
The level of vaccination in the Gay community is fairly high. Over 90% in one report. On the other hand, a lot of the anti-Gay Christians are also anti-vaxxer. Not every anti-vaxxer is Christian or anti-Gay but the percentage of conservative Christians who are anti-vaxxer is much higher than the general population.
There were a series of news stories of prominent anti-Gay and anti-vaxxer radio show performers dying of COVID-19. I think the count reached ten major anti-Gay radio show hosts before there stopped being more news stories about this. Maybe the other radio show producers decided to secretly get vaxxed.
Though it is likely that some Gays were not able to be effectively vaccinated due to immune problems or chemotherapy or some other issue, the death toll on the Gay community has been slight. On the other hand, it has hit the right-wing evangelical communities hard.
Likely well over 100,000 anti-Gay evangelicals have died during the pandemic. Even with Evangelicals dying all over the place, there are right wing Evangelicals refusing to get vaccinated.
The overall fatality rate of COVID19 for all ages lumped together is about 1%. For those in their 60s, 5% and goes up quickly to 20% for those in their 80s. Also, being overweight is a factor. Given the demographics of white evangelicals being older they probably have been hit hard.
Yet, Gays don’t bear any moral responsibility for this pandemic which has reduced the number of anti-Gay people by well over 100,000.
FLU VACCINES
For older Gays get the flu vaccine each year. The anti-Gay Evangelicals are likely refusing it and we thus have a great advantage over them, by surviving while they take reckless actions that results in their mortality.
THE NEXT PANDEMIC
For the next pandemic we need the Gay community to be solidly pro-vaccine, ready to get vaccinated as soon as possible, and practice safety.
For those Gay anti-vaxxers that exist, we need to point out that they are current and future health hazards for getting STD diseases.
1. Covid Anti-Vaxxers Are Likely Future HIV Anti-Vaxxers: One thing I think needs to be the position by any group purporting to be supportive of Gay rights is that all Gays need to get vaccinated.
We need to point out that those refusing a COVID-19 vaccine today, are likely to be refusing a HIV vaccine or Herpes vaccine in the future. People should note which of their friends are anti-vax to reduce the risk of getting HIV or Herpes from them in the future, or any other disease for which a vaccine is developed in the future.
2. Covid Anti-Vaxxers Are Likely HPV Anti-Vaxxers: Also, if they are anti-vax for COVID-19, what is the chance that they have refused the current available vaccines for sexually transmitted diseases like HPV or meningitis.
We need to have a standing plan to get vaccinated as soon as possible when the next pandemic occurs. Not only do we save Gay lives, but we again will have a situation where Anti-Gay clowns refuse vaccination and a great many anti-Gay people will do themselves in.
Remember, the next pandemic might not be 1% fatality rate. It might be 10% or 20% or 80% or higher. Ebola was around 80% or higher and spread widely. A future disease might be very contagious also. If the Gay community is solid for vaccines and safety and the anti-Gay Christians are refusing to wear masks and not getting vaccinated our situation politically could change drastically. Not only will there be fewer anti-Gay Christians, but they will be thoroughly discredited.
