You might sign up for it thinking it is a Gay art group, since it calls itself “The Gay Art Group,” but it isn’t a Gay art group, it is a trans art group.

It isn’t an issue of some trans persons posting trans material into a Gay art group. The following post is by the admin for the group.

Nor is it an issue of one stray post these are some others by the same admin such as:

In the “About” description it is for LGBT+ art and artists. Though I don’t see any contribution by Lesbians, perhaps I am missing translesbian contributions.

In the Group Rules, they describe it as a platform for LGBTQIA+ artists.

I looked at a series of posts and one thing stands out. You won’t see any art work where a penis is visible because that would sort of collapse the transman fantasy. You will see “men” wearing underwear or swimsuits or something with a bulge but for transmen that is just something holding their “packers,” things they purchase to put into their pants to look as if they have a bulge from having a penis.
The group rules at this link,

prohibit any nudity or “rique” art. They claim it is because of Facebook rules, but the depiction of art is permitted by Facebook even when it involves nudity. There are multiple Facebook groups showing art work that has nudity. If it is porn, yes, Facebook is going to be on it, but if it is the Statue of David in the Vatican, or some painting by some artists, Facebook isn’t going to ban it. This argument is a pretext to ban nudity which tends to show what a trans person doesn’t have.
They are also using the trans strategy to bring in other social justice agendas to carry along their trans agenda. For example, this is a post leading to a display of African American abstractionist art.

Nothing wrong with African American abstractionist art, but the thing is that it being employed to try to mainstream Trans art. This is in keeping of the trans lobbyist policy of mixing trans goals with other social justice goals.
As usual when they have an initialism, LGBT or longer initialism, there isn’t much Gay in it and it is a form of parasitism of the Gay community.
Also, it is typical of groups that call themselves LGBT+ in that they typically are using multiple communities for just the benefit of Trans or some other later letter like asexuals.
In my Gay Art Page there is now a category for stealth trans items. I have the link to that page at the end of this newsletter.
