UPDATE 1, 4/3/2022. At end of this piece.
One of the things I am beginning to come across is male nudes and male art that you might think is oriented towards Gay desire but isn’t.
For example this series of photos in Out.com magazine on photographs supporting body positivity by Anthoney Patrick Manieri.
However, you will notice is that in none of his photographs do you see a penis.
The article states:
With a history of work in fashion and portrait photography, Manieri set to create an inclusive awareness initiative and portrait series that celebrates and promotes positive body image for men. that inclusion is not only race, but body shape and type, gender and sexuality, age, and more.
Also:
Everyone is on a journey with themselves, and I’m no different regarding body positivity, as I posed for this series as well.
So the last picture in this article has a figure with the scars typically seen on a transman. You can’t really tell what you are looking at regarding the sex of the figure.
This is the page for the book being discussed.

It is Manieri’s artistic style to obscure the penis, if not by the pose than by large pixels. I have no information that Manieri is transexual.
The following is a video showing the art of Musk Ming. See if you can see what is a common element in his art.
This is his webpage.
What you will notice is that in none of his paintings will you see a penis. I have seen several of his videos and more than one webpage. None, absolutely none, will have a penis.
I have no information that Ming Musk is trans.
It could be that there is some other reasons these articles block out a penis never represent one. Whatever it is, that is creepy also in my opinion. It is a sort of anti-sex, unhappy with Gay sexuality whine, or just thinking that it makes them special. I have heard over the years some Gays whine about their being too much focus on the penis.
Or it could be the motitivation is that as a transman without a penis, having art work where whether the male figure does or doesn’t have a penis is obscured creates an imaginary world where men are men whether they have or don’t have a penis. They just have to look male, but they could have a penis, or nothing or a vagina.
Before anyone whines about my questioning these artist and their deterimination not to draw a penis, it needs to be pointed out that both artists have as their subject nudes and have as a key feature of their art the omission of penises. Yet, no where can I find a statement by these artists was to why this is, it is a rather notable feature of their art, is an element of their art, let alone a statement as to why penises are omitted.
Before you purchase any art or art book make sure that there are penises and not just a couple token penises in their art work. If you notice a phobia over the penis at an art showing, leave. Don’t listen to their whining about artistic freedom. The artist of course has freedom to create the art the artist wants to create. You have the freedom to not be interested.
UPDATE 1: (4/3/2021)
The following Facebook group bills itself as “That Gay Art Group.” However, it is a trans group. Use the following link to see a post by the administrator of the group.

They have some Gay oriented art in the group, intermixed with this trans stuff. Below is the link to the Group.
