At the bottom of the page are the links to about a 100 or more Gay artists. They have their Bluesky, Instagram, and Facebook links, but not X links. I know that several of the artists in the list are on X also. So there was an ideological decision.
I followed quite a few new artists on Bluesky and will be updating the Bluesky page after my new computer is up.

Texas legislators overwhelming support bill supporting HIV testing, but NOT all of them.
A bill to support HIV testing, HBrequiring it to be provided by health care providers as part of standard STD testing is apposed by 20 Texas legislators. There is no rational reason to be against it.
One way to shut down the Gay community is to allow HIV to increase its spread, prevent treatments, make Gay sex less safe, and have Gays either give up sex or die.
It is in Texas there was a lawsuit to say employers don’t have to provide PreP as part of the affordable care act. Prep coverage was opposed on religious grouns.

This is why a vaccine and a cure is critical. There are groups that want to use HIV to bring down the Gay communty, even through methods where Gay men could die.
I am tracking some other HIV related legislation in Texas. Texas is a testing ground for anti-Gay religious groups in developing methods to go after us.
Near Death Computer Experience and some advice as to how to back up your data.
Some things to know about backing up and that SSD external drives are slow to the point of being unusuable. SSD internal drives with special sleeves is something else.
Doing the weekly updated by Dell to my computer to provide new recovery software killed my computer. Also, the recovery software to export the hard disk data didn’t work. So I took the Dell to a local shop which knows how to do things and saved my data.
I have some learnings.
First, your priority problem is to back up data and nothing else should be worked on until it is done. A few days could be disasterous, as I found out.
I was backing up data. I had purchased an OWC to back up my Western Digital unit. However, the OWC had come with poor documentation and I was working on that and hadn’t backedup the lap top to the OWC or an external disk.
Part of the problem is that I purchased Samsung external SSDs which are SLOW. When I backed up the Western Digital RAID unit, it took a week using the Samsung unit.
The hard drives are way faster than the SSDs. I have backed things up at 20 megabytes per second with the hard drives. The SSD get down into kilobytes per second. I purchased fanxiang and Crucial SSD drives which are supposedly fast, but they were unusable.
I had gotten SSD thinking they would be faster, but the Samsung ones are SLOW. I got my data on a fanxiang SSD drive which is fast. My hard drives are faster.
It isn’t a matter of the DELL being old, I find them slow on the my Lenovo travel computer. I ordered two drives. The drive the shop gave me is a fanxiang internal drive with a special connection.
It is easy to say back up things, but when you have back up drives which are slow, or others which are beginning to break down, you are often fighting hard ware problems and not getting ackups done.

Mpox Clade 1 found in North Carolina wastewater.
Reports don’t say if it is Clade 1a or 1b. However, it isn’t Clade 2 which was the cause of the epidemic in 2022. Clade 1b is the deadlier mpox which has been of concern for escaping outside Africa. If either Clade 1a or 1b is out there circulating in North Carolina, this is very concerning. It is on the loose and contact tracers don’t know who has it and so don’t know who to trace.
If you haven’t gotten vaccinated, now would be a good time to do so.

There are over a dozen states with laws on criminalizing homosexual sex. If the Supreme Court decision is overturned the current attorney generals of these states might take actions to enforce the law rather than just let the law lie dormant.
As, the opponents of this law testified, even if the law is unenforceable I serves a purpose of representing homosexuality as bad.

Any plan to defeat HIV will depend on a working vaccines. We will need a vaccine for every STD that exists. Anti-vaccine nonsense threatens us getting the vaccines we need.

It is a detailed account about how groups were evasive and manipulative and played games with the issue of Gay bashing.
You can also see how Gays were losing the control of their movement to the Democrats and ideologues even then.
