The reason I moved to Substack was because of the fascist trans activists on every other social media site, dictating to others their deluded world view.
If those morons are leaving Substack, then good riddance - it just means that the average IQ of everyone on this app will rise considerably, and less unintelligible trash will be posted.
They all left in a huff with media coverage, and then they realized that worse then no one caring, people were glad to see them go. They can go to Medium. Thanks for the comment. Yesterday I spent a lot of it, researching, writing, and correcting typos and grammatical monstrosities. I went to bed wondering if anyone would read it. This morning I see people did. Thank you.
I certainly hope they will not cave. The remedy to speech you don’t like is more speech, explaining why the original speech was wrong and making your own arguments. Not censorship.
Nah…. People flocking to Substack …. The trans bullies have to debate here and it doesn’t go well… CRT also looks daft when you have sane black and white voices calmly pointing out it’s a grift.
The calm dismantling of outrage epithet spitters is a beautiful thing to see.
In debating there is a tactic called, "Poisoning the Well." That is, if you can't win the argument over the facts related to the topic, you attack the character of your opponents. You are toxic. Likely you are addicted to the intoxication of self-righteousness. Or you just don't have the cognitive ability to use any other tactic than slander. My guess is that you are a mediocrity living a meaningless existence and your comments enable you to live in a fantasy world where you are some heroic crusader.
Normally, a response is “no, it’s not clickbait, here’s public messages Substack has made you missed in the piece”.
Yet, not a single specific comment about the question (what evidence is there to support the article title) but an attack on the questioner.
Therefore, that’s the answer; the article had nothing substantial to say about Substack, could not clarify the thesis, and texts erupts attacking the question.
The writer created a title which obviously gained the attention of a gender-critical audience, then didn’t actually deliver anything of note from simple reading. That’s measurable
Furthermore the writer immersed themselves in an ironic self-parodying ad-hominem, granted I wrote nothing about them.
“Poison the well” is a rhetorical technique of course to disparage a writer. I disputed the title after reading the article, quoted by several others. That’s all.
And yet the audience ends with… not a single defense of the title or citation of a policy or action by Substack to support it.
“Clickbait” is a sensational title used to misleadingly gain attention.
Well, if Substack thinks it can silence our voices, it's got another thing coming.
Concerning. I hope free speech/truth-tellers prevails in the end.

Bye bye TRAs 👋

Keep the ship steady,
steady as she/he him/her goes.
A.R. Moxon feels that *checks notes* words having definitions is fascist.
Sounds stable 🤔 💬
Don’t budge, not one inch.
I’m afraid I didn’t see a single piece of evidence in the article about Substack which substantiates the title.
It pretty much follows the definition of clickbait, not unlike writing “Substack has created a community for pedophiles, are you aware?”
What did I miss if there were actual statements about Substack policy?

An object lesson in poor dialogue.

Q.E.D.
I’m curious how self-defensive this becomes.
