Directory of the Posts about posting on the Critical Geography Listserv & why am I doing this?
This listserv reaches scholars all through out the English speaking world and scholars elsewhere. I am letting the academic world know that there is a Gay centric movement.
Subscriptions are free.
Why do this?
In the English speaking academic world and many other places Gay scholars can’t speak up from a Gay centric view point. They would soon have the university president stating that they were “deeply troubled” by his view point. Students would whine that they feel unsafe by his presence on campus. He might find himself harrassed on campus, as has happened. His career would be at best limited if not terminated.
This listserv reaches scholars all through out the English speaking world and scholars elsewhere. Though this is a geography listserv, word will get about when professors and scholars talk to each other in the academic community. It doesn’t matter if it is good or bad, my existence will be known. They will know that there is a Gay centric movement. They don’t even have to contact me. They might contact one of the groups I talk about, or subscribe to this newsletter.
In addition I am able to comment about the queer studies groups on how they represent issues or what they say in critical ways advancing a Gay centric view point in opposition to what they might purpose.
I can post about projects I am doing as a Gay studies person which show what is possible in Gay studies.
Also, I raise issues that are not contained in the establishment framework that currently defines the LGBTQXYZ+ agenda. This shows how queer studies neglects the needs of the Gay community.
In some occasions I can point out how the academic establishment avoids taking on certain issues when I raise those issues.
In some occasions I can point out the homophobia in some projects. Issues come up in the field of cultural geography in which the issue of homophobia isn’t recognized and I call it out.
My constantly raising issues relevant to the Gay community which aren’t raised by anyone else in the Gay community, also shows how the current academic establishment neglects Gay issues and is worthless regarding Gay community concerns.
Finally, I hammer on the issue that Gays can’t speak out from a Gay centric viewpoint showing how the LGBTQXYZ+ people are repressive and the lack of free speech or thought in the current academic establishment.

This latest post is being updated as the month of March progresses. There is an accusation of “queerphobia” and two members want me to be kicked off.
So true, speaking out has a steep price.
