Sexually Transmitted Diseases and the Gay Agenda as opposed to the LGBTQXYZ agenda.
It is time to have a real health advocacy which supports a sexually liberated Gay community.
It is with the issue of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) that the failure of the LGBTQXYZ establishment to be concerned with Gay needs, in this case Gay health, is most revealed. The LGBTQXYZ has been more concerned with puberty blockers than Gay health.
The LGBTQXYZ and monkeypox
The currently ongoing monkeypox crisis and the slow and inadequate response of the Biden administration to address monkeypox is one thing. The failure of the LGBTQXYZ Democratic Clubs and the Alphabet Soup media to severely criticize the Biden administration shows how there isn’t much concern over Gay issues in the LGBTQXYZ establishment is another issue.
There is this focus on claiming that it isn’t a “gay disease.” Well diseases don’t have sexual orientations, but about 98% of the cases are with men who have sex with men. Seems fairly Gay to me.
This fear that monkeypox might be called a Gay disease is a fear of the Respectability Gays who always wonder what the straight people might think. The focus should be instead on pushing the Biden administration and local government to have an effective response instead.
There hasn’t been any delay though in urging that Gays shut down their sexual liberation which as a practical matter is probably the right thing to do, since it seems that the Biden administration doesn’t have a coherent plan and has been bumbling on monkeypox. But this urging to shut down the sexually liberated life style of some Gays has also been accompanied by comments by some Gays thanking that they have monogamous lifestyles and other not so veiled criticisms of Gays who are sexually liberated. There is this attitude by some that only the “bad” Gays are going to get it.
Whereas there has been comments about shutting down Gay sex lives there hasn’t been much discussion in the LGBTQXYZ media about the origins of this crisis which is solely due to the incompetence of the medical establishment. Smallpox vaccinations had previously protected the public from monkeypox. With the global elimination of smallpox, the vaccinations for smallpox were stopped.
African scientists had been warning for years that monkeypox which is endemic in parts of Africa could reach the temperate climate regions of the world and help was needed in Africa to control monkeypox. The title of the article for which the link below is provided is, “Monkeypox in Africa: the science the world ignored.”

Nature magazine is one of the two most credible science magazines in the English speak world.
Is there any LGBTQXYZ group out there which is going to review what went wrong and offer criticisms? I doubt it, yet is extremely painful and is a Gay health crisis.
Is there a Gay health agenda with any of the LGBTQXYZ groups asking questions about what other tropical disease could be the next, its-not-a-Gay-disease, for which 99% of the victims are men who have sex with men? I doubt it. There should have been a group focused on this all along.
What will likely happen with the current lack of interest in Gay health regarding STDs is that some other tropical disease will likely ravage the Gay community in the future with the LGBTQXYZ establishment being focused on proclaiming it isn’t a Gay disease.
STDs and the LGBTQXYZ
Gays have more sexual opportunities than straight men do and of course they act on these opportunities. The greater availability of sexual opportunities is one of the great things about being Gay.
The Respectability Gays, who endlessly worry about what the straight people think, want Gays to get married and have monogamous lives and if single not be so sexually active. In fact, to control Gay sexuality was one of the reasons given to support Gay marriage. [I have a link to an article on that at the end of this article. “Assimilation or Digestion?”]
The LGBTQXYZ Democrats don’t have a real STD Gay health agenda. In our local Stonewall Democrats Facebook group, I mentioned that there should be a program for the development of a vaccine for syphilis and for gonorrhea and one respondent was so panicked by the topic that he posted that you could only have vaccines for viruses!
The rest of his focus was they weren’t Gay diseases since straight people got them too. I wasn’t saying they were Gay diseases; I was saying that it would be a material benefit for Gays if there were vaccines for these diseases, but the response was just hysteria about me bring up STDs as a Gay agenda item. [Post on this at the end of this article.]
Most of the letters in the LGBTQXYZ don’t have a concern over STDs. I am sure that there are some Lesbians who have gotten a STD at some point, but it isn’t an issue in the Lesbian community. There are perhaps a few Lesbians getting medications for HIV, but HIV has been mostly not an issue for Lesbians.
The asexuals aren’t worried about STDs. The other letters besides Gays and Bisexuals are probably not worried about STDs either. The endless complaints of trans people are that either Lesbians or Gays won’t have sex with them and though they claim to be one thing or another they don’t have very active sex lives compared to Gays.
Gays in general have more active sex lives with more sexual partners and this is one of the benefits of being Gay. However, if there is a risk in having sex in getting an STD then simple logic would show that those more sexually active have a greater risk of getting STDs.
The solution is not to try to shut down Gay sexual liberation but find solutions to the problems of STDs. It would not benefit not only Gays but all people who are sexually active. Straights would benefit, and though straights might not want to talk about STDs they would appreciate a focused effort to have STDs dealt with.
The Gay community solution to STDs would have four components.
1. Push for the development of vaccines for STDs. We wouldn’t have to worry about anti-biotic drug resistance of gonorrhea if we had a vaccine for it.
2. A program strongly promoting that the Gay community get vaccinated for STDs when a vaccine is available. There should be a list of vaccines a Gay person needs to get.
Generally, we should support vaccination for the general public also, to reduce the risk that it could reach the Gay community. When conservatives opposed the HPV vaccine did the LGBTQXYZ support the HPV vaccinations? I don’t think so.
3. An aggressive program against anti-vaxxer sentiment within the Gay community. It needs to be pointed out that a Gay anti-vaxxer against any vaccine is probably not getting the Hepatitis vaccines, the HPV vaccines or other vaccines and when the HIV vaccine comes out probably won’t get it either. Breakthrough infections can occur.
Vaccination in general is one of the Gay superpowers in that the opposition to vaccination for Covid has been very prevalent among people who are also anti-Gay and members of anti-Gay religious organizations. Being pro-vaccination is a good way to discredit anti-Gay Christians also.
[Link to article on that at the end of this article.]
4. A program assessing upcoming risks and action plans to reduce these risks. The issue of tropical diseases that might come to the temperate regions of the world and the lack of action to deal with them, to find vaccines and treatments for them, has been an ongoing issue and reported on in the scientific press for years. Though Chikungunya is not an STD, it is an example of how tropical diseases previously unknown to the Western world have managed to appear in the Western world.

https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.318.5858.1860
With monkeypox there are vaccines to deal with it, and it is a problem of supply of vaccine, but we don’t have to actually develop a vaccine. With other diseases we might have an outbreak and will be waiting for a vaccine to be developed.
A Gay health program might include supporting a general program to have vaccines for tropical diseases and some type of reserve supply in case they reach the temperate regions of the world.
With the global systems of transportation, it is very likely that any new disease will be global very quickly.
The LGBTQXYZ establishment is not going to support an effective anti-STD program. They simply aren’t that interested in it, they are embarrassed by the issue of STDs, they want Gays all to assimilate and get married and have monogamous relationships.
The LGBTQXYZ Democrats are vote harvesters for the Democratic Party and that Party doesn’t want to be talking about STDs and sexually active Gays.
It is only through Gay-centric groups that this will be advanced. Also, it is a great opportunity to show how the LGBTQXYZ isn’t meeting Gay needs. It is something of significant real interest for Gays. Getting vaccinations for STDs would also significantly improve Gay life and allow Gay life to develop.
