Interesting Gay artist.
Don’t know much about him, but I thought this post on Substack about his art suggestive. He is a Gay man, but the art people and commentors insist on using the term “queer” and he is sort of forced to go along with them.

Banned from JISC listserv
I got a reply from the JISC Service desk and it was full of vague terms and reasons. The British academic world is a police state.
I will be updating the post on my banning with his email and my reply. I wanted there to be an effort for an HIV Vaccine and so this has been held up.

Mpox
No new cases outside Africa. Maybe people are getting vaccinated before going there or are getting vaccinated while in Africa before returning or maybe airport vigilance is stronger. I don’t know, but it has been a couple weeks of no new cases outside Africa, except in Sao Paulo and we don’t know when that case actually started.
Still spreading in Africa. There are articles that Tanzania has its first case of Clade 1b and articles about the first cases in South Africa in Portuguese. No articles in English about whether it is spreading there.
Still keeping this up.

We are getting close to both with the amazing developments in biomolecular science and medical science and we should push to strong action to get both.
