The truck’s breaks failed. The curbs for the street were done in 1920 and are gently sloped. The hill and the street on it, are quite steep. The truck went over the curb and rolled up and into my driveway and hit my car .
I bought a new car. Fixing the trunk of my car came in at over $13,000 and from what I have learned from people’s experiences the trunks usually end up leaking.
I am now having everyone park downhill from the driveway and I am getting a steel pole put in a place to block any vehicles entering the drive way if their breaks fail. I have deliveries all the time.
Having been able to do much writing as would have liked this week, since I also was working on setting up back systems and testing SSD and HDD drives and computer things and data recovery.

Maybe this explains why they find mpox DNA in sewage water in North Carolina, but no cases are reported. It might be still circulating around without cases detected.

We are talking about Clade II in this paper. The clade that caused the 2022 mpox outbreak in the United States and not Clade 1b which has remained confined to Africa so far.
Professor Lewnard is a specialist in Epidemiology at UC Berkeley. From the Abstract:
Current CDC guidance stipulates that asymptomatic mpox infections are uncommon and play no role in transmission. However, transmission of mpox has continued since implementation of JYNNEOS vaccination in response to the 2022 mpox outbreak, marked by sporadic detection of clinical cases without known transmission links. To better understand this persistence, we undertook a prospective study testing for asymptomatic or paucisymptomatic mpox infection in 2,365 rectal swabs obtained from males through routine gonorrhea/chlamydia screening in Kaiser Permanente Southern California clinics in Los Angeles between May and October, 2024.
And:
This reporting fraction varies according to characteristics expected to influence disease severity: one out of every 9.4 (5.0-18.2) unvaccinated infections and one out of every 34.6 (18.6-63.7) vaccinated infections is detected, while one out every 8.5 (3.8-20.3) infections among HIV-positive individuals and one out of every 28.9 (17.1-48.5) infections among HIV-negative individuals is detected.
What this is saying is that for every known case of mpox among the unvaccinated, there are 9.4 cases of mpox never detected.
So mpox is most likely spreading asymptomatically out there.

Decriminalizing homosexual conduct in Texas as a means of characterizing organized homophobia in 2025.
There are over a dozen states where homosexual conduct is still illegal. I think it is important to understand how these campaigns are fought.
It is important to understand who the opposition is to know how to defeat this particular type of persecution.
However, the larger purpose of studying this indepth is to understand the nature of organized anti-Gay elements in 2025.
Who and what constitution the organized anti-Gay elements in modern American society in 2025.
Understanding that, helps us defeat organized homophobia in modern American society and perhaps elsewhere for all issues of importance to Gays.
At this time it is going to the Texas Senate. It isn’t clear to me whether it will have time to even get voted on or even get out of the Senate Criminal Jurisprudence Committee.
I plan to get biographical information on each anti-Gay voter on this issue and others. It is somewhat a problem since the local LGBTQXYZ+ doesn’t want to have the opposition described in more general terms and not specifics in regards to individual homophobic legislators’ religion and church affiliations. The political agenda of the Democrats outweighs very real Gay concerns for the LGBTQXYZ+ leadership.
So this project is also about how the current so-called leadership fails or succeeds.
So getting religious affiliation is going to be challenging.
The opposition is undoubtably Christian. These same Christians endlessly whine about being persecuted in foreign nations. However, their behavior in Texas shows that it has nothing to do with Human Rights, and is entirely about seeking power.
So tracking down, documenting the opposition has global implications.
Every news outlet in Texas used the terms, “homosexual conduct,” except for our local LGBTQXYZ+ newspaper the Dallas (Vichy) Voice, which is like some Gays out of the 1950s and used the term “sodomy.”

However, I still don’t know of any ongoing vaccine testing effort at this time. Further, it takes time for a study’s results to be written up, reviewed, and then published. So this effort was likely in 2024.

More BL to develop in America a counter cultural force against homophobia.
This is a reoccurring theme in BL and in East Asian dramas generally. A person discovers that they have an identity of which they were unaware. They are actually something else, which is important.
I am not recommending you watch it, but I am asking to share it on social media.
It is very much a male-male romance with sex but as imagined by fujoshis. However, it is a world without homophobia.
What is interesting is that the architecture in this series is entirely European even though this imaginary kingdom speaks a language very similar to Thai and is near Thailand. To East and Southeast Asians, European architecture is the exotic architecture and therefore interesting.

Using AI for Gay liberation.
Summary conclusion: Basically, I am going to ask an AI question first for any of my inquiries.
I think Gay activists need to consider how they might use AI to be more effective and do more. Also, AI is going to be used by the opposition.
All ready the homophobic Christian groups are using AI on their church websites.

I have already started using AI without really thinking about it or planning to use it.
[1] When I have been using Google to search for info on homophobic denominations, Google’s AI will be me an overview of the all the related denominations, history, and background information. It isn’t always entirely accurate, but it eliminates my first 4 hours of research in trying to get an overview of the topic.
For example, one homophobic denomination was Pentecostal and when I started my research for a report, Google AI gave me a summary history and what all the Pentecostal denominations were in the United States and elsewhere, and basic information on Pentecostal Christianity. Hours of time researching saved.
[2] Sometimes for the newsletter I need an interesting graphic and Grok generates fairly good poster art for me to make a point.
[3] AI told me what to do with the file renaming software component of Microsoft PowerToys, and saved me well over a 100 hours work learning about PowerToys and writing more complex codes. I used it to enumerate image file names and renamed large folders of image files where I had decided I wanted a different naming convention.
I think though I am likely not using AI to my best advantage. It isn’t part of my routine. It has been somewhat accidental. Google gives me AI answers without being asked.
I am going to start asking an AI first, since it takes only a minute, and try to make it a habit.
Some hardknocks learning about computer pitfalls.
UPDATE: I ordered an 8TB San Disk and it can’t be used and a 22TB Seagate Hard drive just lost files.
I know these aren’t Gay things, but I want to pass along what I learn so you don’t have painful experiences.
Every time, every time Microsoft has an update, they re-sync the One Drive with your computer. You need to quit One Drive to prevent it from sucking up data. Microsoft, in my estimation, is adopting malware characteristics. The icon should be on the lower right of your screen and you just click on its settings and them quit it, it will ask again, and you quit it again.
Also, you need to make sure you are really on Google Chrome and not Microsoft.
I had purchased some Samsung 8TB storage units. Three of them. I wrongly concluded they were slow when it took a week to make three copies of my Western Digital EX4100 RAID files.
The Samsung storage units are actually fast. The speed of data transfer depends on (1) the sending source data storage, (2) the computer, and (3) the receiving source.
I don’t know for sure whether it was the Western Digital EX4100 unit or my previous Dell computer, but I think it was the Western Digital EX4100 unit causing slow data transfer. I had read some online complaints previously.
Going forward I am getting all SSD storage units. They seem to be all working and are fast.
UPDATE: Opinion of San Disk downgraded.
So far the San Disk SSD portable extreme drives are NOT proving to be reliable. . Recently failing 8TB SSD protable extreme, over $500 is now junk in less than a week or ordering it straight from San Disk.
Multiport USB-C splitters. These aren’t the usual splitters. The units have the small microcable USB-C plug in ports and it has the small USB-C plug in ports.
I ordered one Mokin unit. It is in the trash. Twice when I unplugged a drive from it, my Lenovo went into Restart. Also, Windows 11 said it doesn’t recognize the device. I purchased an Acer model and test it and it worked fine.
